Mga "Baka" sa Freelancing.

Madami talaga tayong mga agam agam na naririnig about Freelancing. Kahit ako, skeptic din talaga sa field na ito nung una.

Here are some of the most common misconceptions that I wa able to debunk when I decided to shift to freelancing.

"Baka walang job stability jan."
Actually, dahil nga freelancer ka, you get to work not with only 1 client making it more stable kasi pag nawala yung isa, may isa or 2 ka pang client kaya tuloy tuloy pa din ang income mo.

"Baka sayang ang mga company mandated benefits."
Believe it or not, mas mataas ang bigayan sa pagiging Freelancer if you will know how to set your price right. Making you able to pay for government benefits on your own at meron pang matitira sa'yo;)

"Baka boring naman jan."
Dito tayo mejo magkakatalo. Kasi we understand na marami talagang outgoing na person at mas prefer na may mga kachitchat sa work, hinahanap yung competition sa workplace at talagang people person talaga. Pero in freelancing, you won't get bored kasi hindi usual un working hours na 8-5 so after your work you can still go out and talk to your friends or go to the place you want. Pero reminder pandemic pa pala so wala ka din choice kundi magstay muna sa bahay haha.

"Baka mahirap makakuha ng work jan e."
Walang namang madaling work e, kahit nung nagaaply ako sa BPO andami kayang interview na pinagdaanan. At kahit sa ibang corporate jobs. Pero hindi, if you have the right mindset, the right skills, the confidence then you are all set.

"Baka SCAM yan."
Naku itanong mo yan sa mga 6 figure earners na mga premium Freelancers na. There are a lot of ways on how to spot scam clients so don't worry :)

So that's my take on the Freelancing misconceptions. Sobrang madami pa nyan. Pero sabi nga nila, walang namamatay sa maling akala. Try mo muna. Malay mo, dito mo din mahanap yung passion mo talaga. Although I am thankful sa ilang taon kong pag thank you for calling kasi dun nahasa yung communication at multitasking skills ko. Pero dito sa Freelancing, mas nag grow ako at nakadiscover ng ibang skills pa na pwede maoffer.

So yun, try mo na din :)

This is true. We are inately visual people so we have to make our posts more eye catching to our target audience.

Do not take for granted your brand's visual social branding which focuses on how your social media content looks like -- this includes your profile picture, your cover photo, and especially your social posts. Great visuals on social media are important because the human brain is wired to read and understand images better and faster than words.
