Life often feels uncertain. We make plans, set goals, and strive for success, yet sometimes things don’t go as expected. In those moments, we might wonder: Does God really have a plan for me?

The Bible reassures us that He does. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope."

God’s plan is not always revealed all at once. It unfolds step by step, often in ways we don’t expect. His timing is perfect, even when we feel delayed. His ways are higher than ours, even when we don’t understand (Isaiah 55:8-9).

God's plan often differs from ours. For years, we found ourselves unsure of where to begin. We had the resources and the creativity, yet we didn’t know how to start. Then the pandemic came and disrupted everything, perhaps just as it did for you. But here we are now, reminded once again that His plan is greater than ours.

Could this be the season we've been waiting for? Only God knows, and we surrender it all to Him.

"There's Another Man in the Fire" on tees...

The question is, how far will you trust God? Do you seek Him only if everything's well and goes your way? Are you willing to go the extra mile to stand in your faith and say "I will never back down"? Can you still praise and worship Him amidst your suffering?

In the Bible, the story in the book of Daniel struck us big time. In the story, king Nebuchadnezzar II (king of Babylon), ordered his men to throw three young Hebrew men into a fiery furnace, when they refuse to bow down to the king's image/idol; the three are preserved from harm and the king sees four men walking in the flames, "the fourth ... like a son of God".

These men "refused" to bow down to an idol, they're willing to die, and keep their faith instead. But God saw their faith and saved them. In Daniel 3:25, the king himself was shocked:

“Look!” Nebuchadnezzar shouted. “I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god[a]!”

So we say this to you brothers and sisters, whatever suffering you're in at this point of time, remember that God is beside you and no matter how hot the fiery furnace is that you're going through...

"There's Another Man in the Fire",

and that is Jesus.

Be sensible to what you’re asking to God.

Example: If we asked for a big house and good career, but we’re not actually doing anything to achieve it. Maybe it’s time to revisit what you want versus what you’re really doing to get it. Ask for God’s guidance and act accordingly. Show the best of whatever you can do and as saying goes, “God will do the rest”.
