Before I ever created a storybook… I honestly thought,
“Who am I to write one?”

As a solo parent juggling work, life, and mom duties, creating anything felt impossible.
But everything changed the moment my child said:
“Mama… can you tell me a story you made?”

That night became the beginning of my Kids Storybook journey.
I wasn’t a writer.
I wasn’t a designer.
I was just a mom who wanted to make meaningful moments.

There comes a moment in freelancing when you realize…
“Hindi pala stable ang income kahit gaano ka pa kagaling.”
One month you’re fully booked,
the next month — no clients, no messages, no updates.

And for a solo parent, that kind of uncertainty?
It hits differently.
Bills don’t pause.
Kids don’t stop growing.

I still remember the exact night I told myself:
“Ayoko nang umasa sa client para mabuhay kami.”

That was the turning point.

I was juggling work calls, house chores, and being a mom.
Pagod na pagod na ako—
physically, mentally, emotionally.

Then one day, out of nowhere…
the client I relied on told me:
“Thank you for your service, but we’re no longer continuing.”

No warning.
No backup plan.
Just me… staring at my screen, thinking,
“How do I explain this to my daughter?”

That day felt heavy.
But it also opened my eyes.

That’s when I discovered digital products.
Templates. Storybooks. Printables.
Products that I can create once…
and sell again and again,
even while doing chores, resting, or spending time with my child.

It didn’t replace freelancing overnight—
but it gave me something priceless:
control.

I used to think I was lazy.
But the truth?
I was just tired.
Emotionally. Mentally. Physically.
And as a solo parent and working mom, that exhaustion hits different.

I wanted a side hustle…
pero wala na akong energy after work.
Wala na ring time para sa sarili ko — or worse, para sa anak ko.

But one day, I realized the problem wasn’t ME.
The problem was the kind of “extra income” I was forcing myself into.
Client work?
Freelancing?
More meetings?
More revisions?

Hindi na kaya ng katawan ko.

So I chose a different path — one that didn’t demand energy I didn’t have.
I started creating digital products.
Kids’ storybooks.
Canva templates.
Printables.

Something I could do quietly… slowly… and at my own pace.
And little by little — it added up.
Even on days when life gets heavy,
my digital products continue to work for me.
