Today, as we celebrate you, I want to shower you with the same love and appreciation that you shower upon me every single day. I am blessed beyond measure to have you in my life. "FAITH WISPHER"

I don't love you, Lord, because of fear's cold grip,
Nor for the promise of heaven's celestial trip.
Not for the treasures in lands afar,
Nor for the hope of a shining star.

I don't love you, Lord, for mere duty's sake,
Or for the rules that others make.
Not for the tales of fire and brimstone,
Nor for the guilt that's oftentimes thrown.

I don't love you, Lord, for answers to plea,
Or for the moments when I feel free.
Not for the times when all seems right,
Nor for the blessings in the night.

I love you, Lord, for the grace you impart,
For the love that flows from your tender heart.
For the peace that settles deep within,
And the forgiveness that washes away sin.

I love you, Lord, for the gift of life,
For the strength to endure amidst strife.
For the beauty of each sunrise's hue,
And for the promise of being made anew.

I love you, Lord, not for what you give,
But for who you are, in whom I live.
For your presence that's always near,
And for the love that casts out fear.

For those who've wandered far from belief's embrace,
Lost in the depths of doubt and space.
For the ones whose hearts have turned to stone,
Feeling abandoned and all alone.

I offer this prayer, a whisper in the night,
That they may find their way to the light.
For in the darkness, hope still gleams,
And faith can bloom from shattered dreams.

I don't love you, Lord, because I always understand,
Or because my faith is built on shifting sand.
Not for the times I falter and fall,
But for the grace that lifts me through it all.

For those who question and seek to find,
Yearning for truth to ease their mind.
May they discover in the depths of their soul,
The love that makes broken spirits whole.

I don't love you, Lord, for easy answers or bliss,
But for the journey, the struggle, the abyss.
