Fifteen years ago, the boom in the Water Refilling Station Business in Manila arouse my interest, due to the reason that Safe, Potable Drinking Water is getting to be scarce every day because of pollution and bacterial contamination and known to be a global issue and that Philippines is not an exemption, more so in Sariaya, Quezon. “Sabi nga, sinong tao ang hindi umiinom ng tubig maghapon, kahapon
?” Nobody… “Lahat ay umiinom, bata matanda … walang exemption.” Everybody needs water to survive, young and old needs water from birth to old age. A person can live for weeks, even a month without food… but he cannot live more than a week without water especially during summer time! However after a month of shopping around for a Water Equipment Supplies, I almost gave up with the idea because of the complicated process involves in putting up a water refilling station and the different explanation given to me by the supplier regarding water treatment and purification process. I was confused until I met the former President of WQAP (Water Quality Association of the Philippines) and the multi-awarded inventor of Aquaclean who manufacture and install Complete Ready to Operate Water Store. I was able to upgrade up to the latest technology. They assist me in all the marketing efforts and also in the promotion of business, and direct access to suppliers. With the help of DEOH- The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, College of Public Health University of the Philippines, Manila, in collaboration with the Department of Health, I had satisfactorily completed the certification course for Water Refilling Station and Plant Operators. With those agencies I was able to gain seminars, lectures, symposium on water treatment and purification. The Sanitation Department in Sariaya assists us monthly in the Bacteriological Examination of Water Sample which usually results to “negative for Fecal Coliform Organism,” and with the Physical Characteristics “Clear,” done by the Water Analysis Laboratory. A Physical Chemical Test is done twice a year by a DOH accredited laboratory it significantly shows that it conforms with the standard prescribed by the DOH and that the product water retains essential minerals for good health. We truly adhere to the requirements of the local governments as to business and sanitary permits, licenses, etc. The demand for safe drinking water is so great, that the sales of drinking water show a meteoric increase each year. As our population increase, so as the demand for safe drinking water. It is a basic necessity, whether those living in the barrios, in villages, and subdivision. Knowing the Principles of Supply and Demand, there is an increasing demand for safe drinking water every day. Nobody could guarantee that when you put up a business you will be successful. The bottom line is to compete in a friendly manner and the success of a business venture depends on several factors: these are location, style of management, the kind of service, the quality of the product, pricing know-how (technical marketing and the way business is conducted) and the expertise of the person running the business. Vision
To provide safe drinking water in the community and be involved in propelling our environment in the new millennium. To conform with Standard Prescribed by the DOH and to maintain the product water that retains essential minerals for good health. MARKETING PLAN
