My name is Kiichiro Toyoda, and although my last name appears in millions of vehicles around the world today, my story began among sewing machines and loom. My father founded a textile company, but I... I was dreaming of another kind of gears. From a young age, I've had to face the weight of his legacy and the pressure of following his path. But inside me, the engine had already started. โ๏ธ๐ง
When I decided to create a Japanese car, everyone said I was crazy. Japan imported almost everything, and competing against American brands seemed like economic su***de. I used the money from the family business to fund what would become Toyota Motor Corporation. And that's why... I was hated by many. I was accused of a traitor for risking my father's fortune. But I kept going, even when a war left us without resources and a bomb destroyed part of the plant. ๐ฅ๐ธ
We lost workers friends dreams. But we didn't give up. My team slept on the factory floor, sharing rice and hope. There was no paint for the cars, so we used what we could find. And yet... we believe. We created with hunger, with fear, but also with an unwavering faith. Years later, Toyota became a symbol of durability, humility and advancement.
