The Department of Education (DepEd) has implemented policies to enforce these laws, including ⁴ ⁵:
- *DepEd Order No. 19, s. 2008*: Implements a "No Collection Policy" in public elementary and secondary schools, prohibiting fee collection during enrollment and the first month of classes.
- *DepEd Memorandum No. 041, s. 2024*: Reiterates the "No Collection Policy" and directs division offices to monitor compliance.

Some allowed voluntary contributions include ⁶ ⁷:
- *Boy/Girl Scouts membership*
- *Red Cross Membership*
- *Anti-TB Fund Drive*
- *PTCA (Parent-Teacher Community Association)*
- *School Publication*
- *Membership in student organizations*

These contributions can only be collected starting from the second month of classes and must be voluntary ⁶.
