Most platforms, far from being a blind auction, provide a lot of transparency surrounding the top bids, which can help you decide whether or not you want to compete for a specific ad location. If you decide to place a bid and nail the creative, copy, and audience targeting to create a high-performing ad, these ad platforms will reward you with a lot more exposure.
