Jocelyn R. Lumas-e, MST is an Assistant Professor I in the Mathematics Department of Kalinga State University. She is a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) and is currently taking up Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education (Mathematics) at Saint Mary’s University. Her professional interests include mathematics education, problem-solving strategies, and the development of contextualized, learner-centered, and culturally responsive instructional approaches. Dr. Lalin Abbacan Tuguic is an Associate Professor V at Kalinga State University (KSU), where she currently serves as the University Department Chair of Mathematics and Program Chairperson of the Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education. She is also the University Adviser of the Mathematics Students Organization, providing academic leadership and mentoring to future mathematics educators and researchers. Dr. Tuguic holds a Doctor of Mathematics Education and a Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education, reflecting her strong interdisciplinary expertise in mathematics education, educational development, and research. For the past ten years, she has been a consistently productive researcher, conducting and publishing both quantitative and qualitative studies that contribute to mathematics education, development education, and allied fields. Her scholarly work has earned her multiple Best Paper Awards, and she has successfully published six (6) research articles in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals. In recognition of her academic excellence and research impact, Dr. Tuguic is a 2025 IASMPR Laureate Awardee, a 2025 UNESCO Outstanding Educator of the Year, and the 2025 KSU Outstanding Faculty Researcher of the Year. Her professional work highlights a sustained commitment to quality education, research excellence, and student development at the local, national, and international levels.
