"Heavenly Father, when I'm feeling discouraged and distressed, please remind me through Your Spirit that You'll never leave me."
I am no saint. I am nowhere near perfection. I have sinned countless times than I can take tabs of how often I said "Thank You". These trying times often discourage me, make me feel worthless, thus, the self pity. And the cycle of pessimism continues.
But Daddy God keeps encouraging me, through so many signs, that I should not give up. If He didnt give up hope on all of us, why should we? Who are we to abandon Him and lose sight of the One good thing that is the Lord? I have questioned Him myself numerous times. But he answers me a millionfold that doubt should not be stored in my mind. Instead, have faith. Pray often. Even if it hurts. Even if I have the urge to envy others and take pity on myself again. Hold on.
