The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) will honor exceptional Filipino artists across the country through the 17th Ani ng Dangal Awards. This prestigious recognition is given to Filipino talents who have achieved the highest accolades in various international competitions.

This year, 39 outstanding individuals will be awarded across five artistic disciplines: seven (7) in Architecture and Allied Arts, eight (8) in Cinema, six (6) in Dance, fifteen (15) in Music, and three (3) in Visual Arts.

A special awarding ceremony will take place on March 5, 2025, at the Metropolitan Theater to celebrate their remarkable achievements.

Outlines Network & Entertainment is excited to announce that the short film "the night is drunk when we suffer" by RS Magtaan has been nominated for Best Short Film at the 46th Gawad Urian, one of the most prestigious award-winning bodies for film in the Philippines, presented since 1977.

The Gawad Urian is well-known for its prestige and elusiveness. It is spearheaded by the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino, a film critic organization composed of critics, writers, and scholars.

Edbert Darwin Casten of Outlines Network & Entertainment opens up Bakunawa Fest X with his Filipino translation of Noor Hindi's poem, F**k Your Lecture on Craft, My People are Dying.

Bakunawa Fest X and Outlines' Poet of the Day is
EDBERT DARWIN CASTEN who's performing as we post this. Our selected screenings feature poets and word artists who will perform very short pieces with themes in line with the films being screened.

Si Edbert Darwin Casten ay produkto ng ilan sa mga prestihiyosong national writing workshops gaya ng Palihang LIRA (2019), Iligan National Writers Workshop (2020), at Amelia Lapeña-Bonifacio National Writers Workshop (2021).

Siya ay Board of Trustee sa Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika at Anyo (2021 - Present), Founding Member ng Komite sa Pambansang Araw ng Pagtula, Founding Member ng TulasalitaanPH, Director for Communication ng BAON Collective (2019 - Present), at Marketing Director sa Outlines Network & Entertainment (2023 - Present).

Ilan sa mga natanggap niyang parangal ay ang Gawad Artisan Tek for Poetry sa Technological University of the Philippines - Manila, at ang Jimmy Balacuit Award for Poetry mula sa Iligan National Writers Workshop.

Kasalukuyan siyang nagtatrabaho bilang freelance copywriter, content editor, layout artist, translator, at community/project manager para sa iba’t ibang kliyente.

Bakunawa Fest x Outlines Network & Entertainment at Bakunawa Fest X

Outlines Network & Entertainment together with Bakunawa Fest puts a twist on this year's film festival.

Bakunawa Fest X will be featuring a Poet of the Day before selected screenings throughout the festival, to attract not only film enthusiasts but also fans of poetry.

In collaboration with TulasalitaanPH, a group of volunteers eager to make poetry available for everyone, poets from all over the metro will be featured on each day of the festival. Get to know the artists and their schedules here:

The four-piece band includes Apollo as the vocalist, Jays as lead Guitar, Justin on Drums, and Outlines Network & Entertainment's Augustus Caesar Amalejo also known as "Ace" on Bass. They started in Malate, Manila, fueled by aural storytelling that dives into reality and its individual stories with tuneful melodies that aim to reflect the rise and fall of emotions.
