WHAT IF PLANTS ARE JUST FARMING HUMANS
If plants were farming humans, they’d be the silent architects of an incredibly efficient, long-term process, providing oxygen to keep us alive, waiting patiently for us to expire, then reclaiming us as nutrients through decomposition.
In a way, plants do benefit from us in multiple ways. We cultivate them, spread their seeds, and even contribute to the carbon cycle with our respiration. When we die, microbes break us down, returning carbon and other elements to the soil, which plants absorb for growth. But if they were truly farming us…well, that would make them the ultimate masters of patience, nurturing us just so they could reclaim us in the end.
