The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD), led by its Vice President for Regal Formation and Mission, Research, and External Affairs Ernesto Bastida Jr., visited the University of Makati to gain insights on the Bachelor of Science in Disaster Risk Management program.

The delegation was welcomed by University Secretary Juvy Hermosura and the UMak Institute for Disaster and Emergency Management team, led by Dean Lucia Dela Cruz.

Established in 2021, KLD is currently undertaking a comprehensive review and enhancement of its academic offerings, particularly the proposed Bachelor of Science in Disaster and Emergency Management program, with emphasis on curriculum development, faculty complement, facilities, research, and student support.

LOOK. Students from Sweden, accompanied by representatives from the Iglesia Filipina Independiente, visited the University of Makati to learn more about the field of education in the country as part of its Youth Exchange Program.

The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, led by Executive Director Florian Gottein, visited the University of Makati to gain insights into its initiatives in extension programs, creatives, and the innovation hub, leading to a potential partnership.

The Center for Integrated Communication Director Steve Villacorta gave a tour of the university, accompanied by University Facilities Management Office Director Roque Adarna III and College of Business and Financial Science Lecturer Bonifacio Belen.

The University of Makati, renowned for its strong performance in producing top-notch licensure exam passers in fields such as Nursing, Psychometrics, Radiologic Technology, and Pharmacy, recently welcomed the University of Caloocan City (UCC) for a benchmarking visit to exchange insights on allied health programs.

The productive session was attended by Vice President Ramona Prado, and Vice President Melinda Bautista, together with the various Deans, Directors, Heads, Academic Leaders, and Administrative Representatives of UMak.

UCC, a well-established local university, operates across four campuses and offers a diverse range of programs across seven colleges and schools, serving more than 13,000 students.

The Bachelor of Science in Office Administration students and several faculty members of the Eastern Visayas State University conducted their Learning Visit at the University of Makati through the Makati International Relations Department (IRD).

The College of Business and Financial Science Office Management and Human Resource Management Program Chair Lesil Artista discussed the best practices of the program to the almost 100 visitors.
