Official Statement from MaryJane Salomon, our founder.

As Founder of the Global Creators Festival , I stand with the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) in condemning the insensitive and discriminatory remarks against persons with disabilities in a recent podcast episode.

Freedom of expression is not a license to demean.
Humor is never an excuse for discrimination.
And influence without responsibility is not leadership.

To content creators, podcasters, and influencers:
Your platform is a privilege. Your influence carries responsibility. Use it to inspire, educate, and uplift-not to ridicule others for entertainment, engagement, or popularity.

Creativity must never come at the expense of human dignity.

More than a week ago, we had a productive meeting with Intramuros Administrator Atty. Joan Padilla and the Intramuros Administration team, together with the Global Children’s Choir Festival team, led by MaryJane Salomon, our founder, Anna Tabita Abeleda-Piquero, our creative director and Noel Umali, our festival director, as we continue laying the foundation for the inaugural Global Children’s Choir Festival (GCCF).

This meeting marked another important step in bringing the vision of GCCF to life, with Intramuros as the historic setting where music, culture, heritage, and young voices from across the Philippines and ASEAN can come together.

ANNOUNCEMENT.

An important milestone for the Global Children’s Choir Festival (GCCF) 2026, a flagship initiative of the Global Creators Festival® (GCF).

Officially presenting the creative vision and festival leadership that will transform this dream into reality — Anna Tabita Abeleda-Piquero, Creative Director, and Noel Umali, Festival Director — as we begin shaping the architecture of this international celebration. Joining them is MaryJane Salomon, our founder.

With our dates confirmed for 13–15 November 2026 at historic Intramuros, Manila, the foundation is set for the inaugural Global Children’s Choir Festival, a first-of-its-kind celebration in the Philippines that will bring together young voices from around the world- ASEAN countries.

A global platform where children connect through the universal language of music, celebrate cultural heritage, and form friendships that transcend borders.
