COLOR SEP ANGLES
The angle of the dot is the angle at which the dots chain together. The situation with most computer graphics programs is that the angles of the halftones are generally adapted for offset printing but not good for screen printing. A lot of computer programs use 45 degrees as the default angle. In actuality, 20 to 25 degrees is good for basic halftone work.
If you are doing a process color job, try this: Cyan 15 degrees, Magenta 45 degrees, Yellow and Black 75 degrees; or Cyan 22.5 degrees, Magenta 52.5, Yellow and Black 82.5 degrees. The preferred dot is oval or elliptical, and round dots.
