We’re looking for a detail-driven Finance Assistant who thrives on structure, accuracy, and financial clarity. This role is ideal for someone who understands how strong financial systems support smarter decisions and smoother day-to-day operations.
As part of our Operations team, you will help keep the business financially sound and compliant. You’ll work closely with management, contribute to financial visibility, and support an environment that values accountability and continuous improvement.
Job Summary
The ideal Finance Assistant has a solid foundation in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, discipline, and the initiative to stay ahead of deadlines. You will be responsible for recording, compiling, and consolidating financial data that management relies on to run the business effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
▶️ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
▶️ Relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role
▶️ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
▶️ Strong verbal and written communication skills
▶️ Ability to coordinate with stakeholders at all levels, including management
▶️ Strong critical thinking skills and comfort working in an evolving environment
▶️ Willing to work in BGC
Responsibilities
▶️ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including financial statements and tax returns
▶️ Handle bookkeeping reconciliations and generate financial reports
▶️ Ensure timely submission of taxes and statutory requirements
▶️ Process taxes, payroll, permits, licenses, and professional or consultancy fees
▶️ Follow up on collections and monitor client receivables
▶️ Prepare and process billing invoices
▶️ Track departmental expenses against budgets
▶️ Maintain accurate receivable records
▶️ Support other finance-related tasks as needed
