✨ Grateful for a Successful Learning Session! ✨
We are truly grateful for the successful conduct of the Hour of Code & AI Literacy + Cybersecurity Seminar for the Senior High School students of Maltana National High School, held March 6, 2026 (8:00 AM – 12:00 NN) at the Maltana NHS campus.
This learning initiative was conducted by Coach Tainy Bayno, serving as Master Trainer under the AI Ready ASEAN Program, where I had the privilege of facilitating the Hour of Code & AI Literacy session for the students.
The activity was made possible through the AI Ready ASEAN Program of the ASEAN Foundation, in partnership with Google.org, Smart CT, Maltana National High School, and the DICT R12 - South Cotabato Province.
My sincere appreciation goes to Ma’am Bañaga, the ever-supportive School Principal of Maltana National High School, for warmly supporting this partnership and for allowing us to bring this learning opportunity to our Maltanian Senior High School students.
Special thanks as well to DICT South Cotabato, particularly Provincial Officer Sir Ronald Jones S. Hinay, for accepting our invitation and supporting this collaboration by sending his team to conduct the Cybersecurity Awareness session alongside the AI Literacy seminar.
We also extend our gratitude to Sir David Roy Xerxes Omanio, DICT Information Officer I, together with the DICT Team, for personally facilitating the Cybersecurity Awareness session and sharing important insights on responsible and safe use of technology.
Our appreciation also goes to Ma’am Anna Kathrina Pasquin, DICT South Cotabato Center Manager, for her continued assistance and support in coordinating this partnership.
Thank you as well to Ma’am Dianne Guirhem and the supportive MNHS faculty and staff for their coordination and assistance throughout the program.
And of course, to the Senior High School students of Maltana National High School, thank you for your enthusiasm, curiosity, and active participation during the activities and discussions. Your engagement made the session interactive, insightful, and truly inspiring.
We look forward to bringing more learning opportunities for our Maltanian community as we continue promoting AI literacy, coding, and cybersecurity awareness among young learners.
