Beyond the awards and recognition, the journey of 127th Street Stick & Pins represents far more than a successful research project.
On May 5, 2026, the group was invited to participate in the Research Conference headed by Dr. Florinette De Guzman, Officer-in-Charge of the institution, and Dr. Maria Cecilia G. Cantos, Vice President for Research, Extension, and External Affairs. The study was evaluated by CCDO Mr. Gener Abordo, IT Officer-II Mr. Dominic Unson, and former Dr. Farley L. Abrigo, who expressed interest in the business and its potential for growth.
The feasibility study, entitled "127th Street Stick & Pins: A Feasibility Study of a Designed and Personalized Stickers and Pins Business," was presented by Jenina Macasero, while the research poster and presentation materials were designed and prepared by Creative Director Alaiza Flores. The project was later recognized as the Best Feasibility Study in the program. During graduation ceremonies, the members of the group were further honored with the Outstanding Graduate in Research Award.
While these recognitions mark significant milestones, they tell only part of the story. What began as a business concept for an academic requirement gradually evolved into a student enterprise that connected with customers, organizations, and fellow creatives. Through product development, community engagements, and countless hours of research and preparation, 127th Street Stick & Pins became more than a feasibility studyβit became a learning experience that shaped the group's college journey.
The group extends its heartfelt gratitude to the administrators, professors, evaluators, classmates, friends, and family members who offered guidance and encouragement throughout the years. Special appreciation is also given to every customer who supported the business through purchases, recommendations, and words of encouragement. Each order placed and every opportunity given contributed to the growth of the project and helped transform an idea into something tangible.
Most importantly, the group thanks one another for the trust, commitment, and teamwork that carried the project through every challenge and achievement. The success of 127th Street Stick & Pins stands as a testament to what can be accomplished through collaboration, creativity, and perseverance.
As the members move forward as graduates, they carry with them not only the honors they received but also the lessons learned, relationships built, and memories created throughout the journey.
Although this chapter is coming to a close, the story does not end here.
