‘HAHARAPIN NIYA ANG OFFICE OF THE OMBUDSMAN’

Itinanggi ng kampo ni dating House speaker Martin Romualdez ang pahayag ng Office of the Ombudsman na sinusubukan umano ng kongresista na makalabas ng bansa sa kabila ng inisyung precautionary hold departure order laban sa kaniya.

Paglilinaw ni Atty. Elaine Atienza, spokesperson ni Romualdez, wala pang criminal case na naisampa laban sa kongresista at hindi rin ito nahatulan sa anumang paglabag sa batas.

Nilinaw nilang mananatili sa Pilipinas si Romualdez para harapin ang preliminary investigation para sa ihahaing reklamong plunder at money laundering ng Ombudsman.
