Great news! I just completed the "Cybersecurity for Businesses" course from EC-Council! 🎓 In today's digital world, understanding cybersecurity basics is so important, especially for businesses. This 2-hour course taught me fundamental concepts about protecting companies from cyber threats and maintaining digital security. It's amazing to learn from such a recognized organization in the cybersecurity field. The knowledge I've gained about business security fundamentals will definitely help me better understand how to keep digital assets safe. Really excited to share this achievement with all of you! 💻🔒

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share my new project - PixelCrypt Pro! It's a cool image encryption tool I built that lets you protect your photos with secret codes, just like in spy movies. Imagine being able to turn your regular pictures into encrypted puzzles that only you can unlock! I created this because I believe everyone should have easy access to basic image security, especially in today's world where we share so many photos online. The tool is really simple to use - you just pick your image, choose an encryption method, and it creates a secret version of your picture. What's really fun is that you can try different encryption styles and see how they transform your images in unique ways. I've been working on this for a while now, and it's been an amazing learning experience about how images work at the pixel level and how we can use coding to create digital security. It's completely free and open-source, so anyone can use it, learn from it, or even help make it better! 🚨 Cybersecurity Lab Project Completed! 🚨

Recently, I successfully deployed and tested a complete threat monitoring environment to simulate and analyze malicious activities. 🔐💻

Here’s what I worked on:

🔹 Cowrie Honeypot – Deployed to mimic a real SSH server and capture attacker interactions. Logged multiple brute-force attempts in a controlled environment.

🔹 Snort IDS – Configured custom detection rules to identify SSH scans and brute-force attacks. Successfully triggered alerts on suspicious traffic.

🔹 Ettercap – Used for live packet capturing and MITM simulations, where I analyzed network sessions and even captured plaintext credentials during ARP spoofing.

✅ Key Takeaways:

Honeypots are highly effective in attracting and logging attacker activity.

IDS like Snort plays a crucial role in real-time detection.

Network forensics using tools like Ettercap gives deep visibility into attacker behavior.

This project strengthened my hands-on skills in threat detection, network monitoring, and cybersecurity defense strategies.

💡 Next Step: I plan to enhance Snort rules for more accurate detections and integrate log analysis for better threat intelligence.
