If you had told me a few years ago that Iโd be a block editor advocate, I would have laughed.
I was firmly in the โClassic Editor foreverโ camp. I liked my meta boxes, my familiar PHP templates, and the comfort of a workflow I had perfected over a decade.
But looking back, that resistance wasn't about the code. It was an identity crisis.
We often tie our professional value to the tools weโve mastered. When those tools change, it feels like our expertise is being threatened.
