Green Agri Marketing held a productive corporate meeting with Mr. Hassan Raza (CEO) and Mian Muhammad Zahid of Neelum Seeds, Multan, to discuss collaboration on nature-based agricultural solutions aimed at improving sustainable crop production.

The meeting focused on the adaptation and field trials of Trichoderma harzianum, a beneficial biological agent known for its role in enhancing plant growth, improving soil health, and controlling fungal diseases.

As part of this collaboration, Green Agri Marketing has supplied the product for trial application on 8 acres, where the performance of Trichoderma harzianum will be evaluated in maize, citrus orchards, and cotton crops. The trials aim to assess its impact on disease management, crop vigor, yield improvement, and produce quality under local farming conditions.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment between Green Agri Marketing and Neelum Seeds to promote innovative biological inputs and sustainable farming practices that support farmers while protecting soil and environmental health.

Trichoderma harzianum
ایک فائدہ مند فنگس ہے جو زمین میں موجود رہ کر فصلوں کو نقصان پہنچانے والی بیماریوں کے خلاف قدرتی تحفظ فراہم کرتی ہے۔ اکثر فصلیں جڑ سڑن (Root Rot)، تنا سڑن (Stem Rot) اور اسٹاک روٹ (Stalk Rot) جیسی بیماریوں سے متاثر ہوتی ہیں جس کی وجہ سے پودے کمزور ہو جاتے ہیں اور پیداوار میں نمایاں کمی آتی ہے۔

ٹرائیکوڈرما کو بیج یا مٹی میں استعمال کرنے سے یہ پودے کی جڑوں کے ارد گرد بڑھ کر نقصان دہ فنگس جیسے فوزیریم (Fusarium)، رائزوکٹونیا (Rhizoctonia) اور سکلروٹیم (Sclerotium) کو ختم کرنے میں مدد دیتی ہے۔ یہ فنگس نقصان دہ جراثیم کے ساتھ مقابلہ کرتی ہے اور ایسے قدرتی انزائم پیدا کرتی ہے جو بیماری پیدا کرنے والے فنگس کو تباہ کر دیتے ہیں۔

اس کے علاوہ ٹرائیکوڈرما جڑوں کی نشوونما بہتر بناتی ہے، غذائی اجزاء کے جذب کو بڑھاتی ہے اور پودے کو مضبوط بناتی ہے جس سے فصل کی بڑھوتری اور پیداوار میں اضافہ ہوتا ہے۔

In this video, progressive farmer Ch. Kashif from Vehari shares his experience after using Trichoderma harzianum in his maize crop. The product was applied as a nature-based biological solution to improve crop health, control soil-borne diseases, and enhance overall plant growth.

After application, the maize crop showed strong root development, better plant vigor, greener foliage, and improved field uniformity. The farmer also observed reduced disease pressure and better nutrient uptake, which can contribute to higher yield potential and improved crop quality.

Green Agri Marketing held a strategic meeting with Sabahat Hussain, Director of Central Cotton Research Institute (CCRI) Multan, to discuss the adoption of nature-based solutions for cotton disease management and productivity improvement.

The discussion focused on the rising challenge of cotton wilt and soil-borne fungal diseases, which are increasingly linked to climate stress and changing environmental conditions affecting cotton production.

To address these challenges, Green Agri Marketing introduced Trichoderma harzianum, a beneficial biological solution known for improving root health, suppressing fungal pathogens, and enhancing plant growth.

As part of this collaboration, Trichoderma harzianum was provided for research trials on 10 acres of cotton under CCRI’s supervision. Both parties also agreed on research data sharing and scientific validation to evaluate the effectiveness of nature-based inputs for improving cotton health, resilience, and productivity.
