Plucked flowers
Someone once said “I don’t like Plucked flowers
Back then I didn’t understand
But then I came across a flower
so beautiful so full of life
it felt like it belonged to a world far better than mine
I stood there admiring it
knowing I could never give it the garden it deserved
If I took it with me
it would fade
lose its color its light its soul
So I left it where it was
rooted blooming and free
Because some flowers aren’t meant to be held
just quietly loved from a distance
