𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team. If you are a creative head, this is your opportunity.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Edit videos using Adobe suite
- Work with the creative team to refine footage and meet client feedback
- Keep up with the latest editing styles, AI tools and trends (because styles evolve faster than we like to think)

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
- Minimum 1 year of video editing experience (formal or personal projects—we value skill)
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and familiarity with AI video editing tools
- A strong portfolio of previous work — show us what you've got.
- Good understanding of English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to work on-site in Gilgit or Islamabad

Hosted by Ibex Productions in partnership with Aga Khan Foundation Pakistan (AKFP) and Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), under the Global Affairs Canada-funded BEST4WEER project, this training and mentorship workshop aims to build the capacities of young aspiring storytellers (mostly women, aged 18–35) from Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral in professional documentary-style filmmaking and impact storytelling.

Participants will receive hands-on training in story ideation, narrative development, ethical and safeguarding-compliant videography, filming, editing, and advocacy-focused content creation to document authentic community impact stories.

Selected participants must have basic videography/photography skills, access to equipment (smartphone/DSLR, tripod, mic, etc.), proficiency in Urdu/English, and commitment to attend the full 4 days workshop in Gilgit-Baltistan, complete post-training mentorship, and produce a short impactful video (5-7 minutes).

Severe floods devastated Dain village in Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan, destroying homes, farmland, and livelihoods. Families were forced to survive in harsh conditions with limited shelter. With support from HBL Foundation and University of Lahore, new homes are being constructed to provide safety and dignity before winter. This effort represents a crucial step toward recovery in a region increasingly affected by climate change.
