🔥 Designing for decisions, not just data
We redesigned AnswerThePublic (a powerful SEO insight tool used by millions annually, owned by Neil Patel) for real-world SEO professionals, marketers, and business owners, people who live and breathe keyword data every day.
The challenge:
Young SEO users needed a way to quickly scan, absorb, and act on hundreds of keyword ideas, without getting lost in a cluttered, overwhelming interface.
Our approach:
We took scattered, nested data and turned it into a holistic, interactive wheel that visualizes:
- Questions, Prepositions, and Comparisons
(What people ask: why, how, where —
- How they phrase it: with, for, to —
- What they compare: vs, like, and)
At a glance, users can now see:
Search volume (darker = higher volume)
CPC insights (green = high CPC, yellow = low)
All organized in a circular structure that mirrors user intent
Unlike the old, cluttered UI, this version is intuitive, color-coded, and lets users click through for deeper, nested insights without cognitive overload.
We worked closely with the AnswerThePublic product team, ran multiple design reviews, and tested visual hierarchies — all to turn a raw data dump into a conversation map.
The result?
Positive feedback from the SEO community, better engagement, and keyword research that feels like second nature.
This is what we live for at Decojent — turning complexity into clarity.
