Most People wonder: Only if I had 5% of the followers on my page come in to my store every month, i would be in so much profit.

So we had learnt and implemented the same Facebook advertising formula for our other businesses that we were working with, but the restaurant industry was new for us. We used the same KLTP Formula and we got to work!

This is what we did:
1) Took out some good pictures that the restaurant had, made new graphics and posts.

2) showed the ads(pictures) to a new target audience. We made sure that they were living not more than 5 KM away from the restaurant and liked to go out for food(and many other things as well)

3) We did this for One week. Showed Four menu items to the same audience(tweaked it a little every time)

4) We reached 25000 people in the week and had 2000 engagements. Once we had those engagements, the time to do Magic started. We picked that engaged audience only and re-targeted them with 2 different visuals giving a 20 percent off on lunch. Only this re-targeting got us 10 new tables and 35 new customer exposures.

5) Then, we had some testimonial ads collected. We showed the same audience 5 different reviews of the food from the same restaurant. Also, we made another two different graphics for 20 percent off. Bam!

This 10 days exercise in the limited budget we had, got around 150 new seats in sales for the restaurant in one week. Facebook ads are really great for restaurants if you do them right. The simple yet profound formula helped us convert more likes into customers than what a normal boosting of posts would!

This one is so big, and many people get caught up in this myth, so much so that they end up losing all the money they invest into their marketing. And that is, using the Facebook Boost button!

There is so much detailed Geo targeting available at the back end in the Facebook, that Anyone who just uses the Post "Boost" button, fails miserably to attract the right Audience.

If your product is a high end one, then i must not only target you for the interest, but i should try to make sure you're able to Buy it.

Example: If I'm selling you a Rs. 2500 Hair Cut at my Salon, an interest could be anything related to grooming or hair styles. But, my probability of hitting you as a target increases manifold if i narrow my audience by at least 80% and target only the people who have an interest in Hair-cut and grooming, plus they are international and local frequent travelers. Or they prefer only high-end products. That's how well you can target people on Instagram and Facebook!

So the next time you want to boost a post, please don't do it through the Boost button. Use the Business manager at the back-end.

The rupee( or less) Formula per engagement:
Here it is: When nobody knows you, and you have to go out and show your product or services, it is a little costly. Nobody really knows you in your audience and you're just building engagement for yourself. your costs per engagement can be as high as Rs. 4-5 even if your target audience selection is good.
How we take our engagement costs down, and convert those engagements into sales is a little complex but i'll just break it down here for you.

Step 1> Show the ad to the audience that doesn't know us. get as much engagement as we can. Usually it's a mix of 4-5 graphics and 1-2 videos.

Step 2> Show the engaged audience another set of Ads Showing some deal, or a new offer or product, or something "IN" that you have on offer.

Step 3> Show them some real life testimonials of people who were really happy using your product! This is the cherry on top, where you get the least costs per engagement because people might get fascinated by your great photo shoots, but they'll only believe a review from a real person and photos taken from an ordinary phone.
Alone this strategy implementation can actually result you in a 15-30 % increase in sales, and costs per post engagements as low as a Rupee( we actually have seen costs as low as 50 Paisas even).

**If you’re running Facebook ads, keep reading below as it can change your digital marketing strategy for good**

Have you ever been to a Live Match Screening event at a Shopping mall??

If you’re into advertizing or know a little bit about marketing, you know that the sole purpose of these events is to get people into the Mall so they can make their first discovery, and use it as a reference point for later shopping decisions.

Do you remember when you went to a supermarket and some sales guy just came to you from nowhere and was trying to sell you something. You didn’t like that right?? Why would you buy from him, unless you know them and have built some trust with them.

When you’re doing your Facebook Ads, the same thing applies there as well, still most people doing ads do not understand this simple yet one of the most powerful strategy of selling online.

When you’re selling something on Facebook, give VALUE first. Give so much value and make your prospect customers so warm to you that when you present your offer to them, they cannot deny it. Do not just go straight to them screaming “BUY my this, buy my THAT”

How do you give them value? It is through your content.

We are working with a psychologist who does her workshops as well. For one workshop we had her make training videos for her audience which would introduce her and at the same time give as much valuable content as possible. The strategy is, that to that audience that did engage with our videos and content in any way, we then target those same customers with an Ad With a call to action of Buying tickets to her Workshop. You see, we give a call to action to only warm Leads, as they already Know, Like and Trust us to take that action to get to actually buy our products.

The point I am focusing on here is, Start giving value to your customers before you even think of asking them to buy something from you.

Build a relationship of trust before you start Demanding them to pay you for whatever You’re selling!!
