Honored to share that I have joined the Scientific Committee (Editorial Board) of the 10th International Scientific Conference on Economics & Management (EMAN 2026), which will be held at the University of Oxford , United Kingdom, from March 25–27, 2026, with both in-person and online participation options available.

Becoming part of the international editorial board of this prestigious conference hosted at Oxford reflects the recognition of my academic contributions and ongoing commitment to high-impact research in Economics and Management at the global level.

Today, I had the privilege of engaging with bright minds at the Air War College Institute, where we explored critical dimensions of current national and global challenges from economic resilience and geo-strategic shifts to institutional leadership and policy frameworks.

What really defines success in research? Is it just the number of publications, or the journey, growth, and the people who walk with you?

Today, as I reflect on a meaningful milestone in my academic journey, I feel deep gratitude for the people behind the progress. Reaching an h-index of 8, and an i10-index of 6 is not just a personal achievement. It's a collective one made possible by dedicated collaborators, inspiring mentors, and supportive colleagues.

A special thanks to Applied Economics Research Centre-AERC , Samira Hosseini Asad Abbas and the AAA family whose mentorship taught me that research is far more than publishing papers. It’s about resilience, relevance, and relationships. It's about understanding that impactful research grows from thoughtful questions, ethical work, and real-world application.

To my co-authors, research fellows, students, and associates, thank you for being part of this journey. Your contributions, seen and unseen, made the difference.

To young researchers:

I am pleased to share the certificate of acknowledgment from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) for my contribution to their research journal.

سانحہ سوات (آنکھوں دیکھا حال)

اللہ کی مرضی؟ قدرتی آفت؟ سیاحوں کی غفلت؟ یا انتظامی نااہلی؟

گزشتہ کئی برسوں سے اسی موسم میں، اسی خطے میں، اسی طرح کے سانحات ہوتے رہتے ہیں۔

کیا اس طرح کے سانحات پر تعزیتی پیغامات، اظہار مذمت، انکوائری کمیٹی کی تشکیل کافی ہے؟

ذاتی مشاہدے کی بنیاد پر اس بات کا اندیشہ ہے کہ اگر تین بنیادی عوامل کو نظر انداز کیا گیا تو خاکم بدہن، اس طرح کے سانحات ہر سال رونما ہوتے رہیں گے۔

میں نے یہ بھی کر ڈالا مگر نتیجہ ؟؟

کیا واقعی ہم سب کو خوش کر سکتے ہیں؟ یا ہمیں اپنی راہ خود متعین کرنی چاہیے؟

تحقیقی، علمی یا پیشہ ورانہ سفر میں ایک بنیادی غلطی ہم اکثر کرتے ہیں: ہم ہر ایک کو مطمئن کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔ لیکن حقیقت یہ ہے کہ لوگ آپ سے ہمیشہ مکمل مطمئن نہیں ہوں گے چاہے آپ ان کے لیے کتنا بھی کچھ کر لیں۔ اس لیے ضروری ہے کہ آپ اپنا واضح لائحہ عمل (Action Plan) بنائیں۔

یہ لائحہ عمل بناتے وقت اپنے منٹورز، سینئرز، اور مخلص دوستوں سے ضرور مشورہ کریں، لیکن ایک بار جب آپ نے سمت کا تعین کر لیا تو پھر لوگوں کی بدلتی رائے پر اپنے فیصلے نہ بدلیں۔

مشکل وقت میں سب سے زیادہ دل کمزور ہوتا ہے، اور وہی لمحے ہوتے ہیں جب ہمیں دوسروں کی بےجا تنقید، غیر واضح توقعات، اور وقتی تاثرات سے گھبرانے کی بجائے، اپنی ترقی، اپنی محنت اور اپنے مقصد پر توجہ دینی چاہیے۔

اگر آپ ترقی کر رہے ہیں، سیکھ رہے ہیں، تو بےوجہ پریشان ہونے کی ضرورت نہیں۔
ہر رائے قابلِ غور ہوتی ہے، مگر ہر رائے پر عمل کرنا ضروری نہیں۔

کیا آپ نے بھی کبھی ایسی تنقید کا سامنا کیا ہے جس نے آپ کے ارادے متزلزل کیے؟ آپ نے اسے کیسے سنبھالا؟
