Working with Shumaar was all about bridging two worlds

- creative pulse of live entertainment and,
- data-driven side of event management.

The goal was to build a brand that felt vibrant, inclusive, and confident, while still carrying a sense of trust and professionalism.

The logo brings those ideas together ; different artforms merging into one cohesive system, with a subtle graph element symbolizing the business and analytical side of the platform. It’s expressive yet strategic, reflecting how Shumaar balances creativity with insight.

The colour palette does the same; indigo, lavender rose, pastel green - a mix of energy and ease. Typography follows suit: clean, modern, and approachable.

Altogether, the system creates a voice that’s both creative and credible, designed for a generation that values both aesthetics and efficiency.

What if ETHNC was truly a premium brand?

Right now, the only premium thing about ETHNC are their prices. But a true premium fashion brand isn’t just about higher prices, it’s about delivering premium quality and premium experiences.

From a design perspective, I realized their wordmark lacks the uniqueness and personality that a brand aiming for international recognition needs.

So here’s my reimagination :

Logo & Identity

- A modern wordmark with subtle curves inspired by Urdu nasta’liq calligraphy, paired with the existing rose logo — which holds powerful symbolism.
- Added “Pakistan” underneath to strengthen recognition abroad and give storefront signage instant impact.
- Refined palette: a deep royal purple from their own colour palette, balanced with a soft beige → evoking luxury, calmness, and trust.

Brand Experience

- Velvet hangers & garment bags - premium care for your clothes.
- Sustainable fabric dust bags for in-store and courier packaging (no more polythene pouches).
- Accessory pouches & premium quality shopping bags that elevate every purchase.
- Custom shoe boxes with wrapping tissue for an unboxing moment worth sharing.
- Staff uniforms with gold metal name badges - instantly recognizable, polished service.
- Clothing tags with a detachable rose-shaped metal charm for festive collections - doubling as a keepsake bag charm.
- Close-up fabric videos to highlight craftsmanship, stitching finesse, and fabric richness.

Customer Journey

A premium fitting room experience: calm interiors, thoughtful lighting, and a cozy waiting area for family & friends. Trying clothes becomes less stressful, more enjoyable → a true boutique-level experience.

This rebrand transforms ETHNC from a brand charging high prices to a brand delivering high value at every touchpoint.

Do you think Pakistani fashion brands should focus more on experiences than just prices? Share your thoughts below.

Free Palestine

Designed this in solidarity with Palestine. One cannot even imagine the trauma and pain the Palestinians go through every single day, but what one can do is spread the word, this is the least we can and we should do as humans to end this 70 years old occupation.

Concept :

The Palestinian flag with edges shaped like fire/ the Palestinian flag burning, representing the current situation in Palestine. With Israel bombing Palestine every single day, not once, not twice but 122 bombs in 25 minutes, it appears that Palestine is always under fire. It is always burning, either because of bombing, or because their houses are set on fire with children inside, and when they are not doing either, they are firing (shooting) innocent people for no reason at all.

However, the floral elements around the fire represent that Palestine will bloom through this fire. Their sufferings will end, the occupation will end and they will finally bloom and nurture in a better place.
