This year again, APR hosted a special Women’s Day Iftar - A gathering organized to appreciate the incredible work women in journalism continue to do every day.
Despite making up a smaller share of the global media workforce, women journalists consistently play a critical role in shaping public discourse, reporting from the frontlines, and giving voice to stories that matter and they continue to inform, question, and inspire society.
These thoughtful elements added deeper meaning to the gathering, making the evening not only a celebration of women in media, but also a reflection of collective appreciation, creativity, and solidarity.
