π I Cold-Pitched a Watch Brand on WhatsApp. Here's Exactly What Happened.
Last week I found a watch brand running Facebook ads.
I clicked their ad out of curiosity.
Their Instagram page didn't exist.
Their page had 2 followers.
They were spending money on ads β sending customers to nothing.
So I did what most 17-year-olds wouldn't do.
I messaged them.
Here's the pitch I sent:
"Sir, aap khud ka paisa laga ke doosron ki sale karwa rahe hain.
Aapka ad chal raha hai, log click kar rahe hain β lekin Instagram profile exist nahi karti aur Facebook par sirf 2 followers hain. Customer aaya, kuch nahi mila, chala gaya β seedha competitor ke paas.
Main Asad hoon (), Meta Ads handle karta hoon. Page setup, brand trust, aur targeted campaign β sab ek saath fix karta hoon. Wahi budget, behtar results. Ek baar baat karte hain?"
They replied instantly.
They agreed to a meeting.
Then reality hit.
I jumped too fast.
I asked for a meeting before understanding their business model.
They said "I'm very busy."
I still pushed for 11 AM.
They said okay β but I hadn't done my homework.
I didn't know:
Their monthly order volume
Their ad spend
Whether they even had a proper setup to run ads on
I had a great hook. Weak discovery. No structured pitch.
What I learned:
A cold pitch is just a door opener.
The real sale happens when you understand their problem better than they do.
Hook gets attention.
Discovery builds trust.
Solution closes deals.
I had mastered the hook.
I skipped the discovery.
I lost the close.
The next pitch I sent β to another watch brand β looked completely different.
Different structure. Different questions. Different confidence.
Still working on closing them.
But the process is better. And that's what matters at this stage.
I'm Asad () β 17 years old, building my digital marketing agency from scratch, one pitch at a time.
Every rejection is a case study. Every mistake is data.
