What are the best ways to promote a YouTube channel?

Hi friend, when it comes to YouTube,

3 main factors that make my channel every month look like this:

1. Grow Your Channel with SEO:

Which is ranking your videos on top of YouTube search results by optimizing your title, and metadata for a specific keyword. U can use tools like Tubebuddy, Vidiq, H-supertools, and others to grow your channel.

in order to rank a video on YouTube, you have to do the following:

Find the correct keyword to rank with (High Search Volume + Low Competition)

Optimize your video using the correct keyword.

Example from my channel:

If you open YouTube now and search for “amazon ses”, you will find a couple of my videos on Top of YouTube Search Results.

So How I did this?

The first step is doing keyword research for YouTube, I do use H-supertools Free YouTube Keyword research tool to find keyword ideas.

so open the tool, and enter the topic or keyword that you wanna create a video about or your published video.

in my case, I searched for “amazon ses” and here are the results:

So you can see around 22K searches per month on YouTube, and the Difficulty is Low, so I can rank somehow easily on this keyword.

and on the same page of H-supertools, you will find Related Keywords, you can use as tags and mention in the video description.

so I set the Video Title as:

the bold terms are keywords iam trying to rank on with this video. but the main keyword is “amazon ses”

Then in the video description:

Why Amazon SES? Maybe the main reason for selecting Amazon SES as your SMTP Service is the cheap costs. Do you believe that you can send a 100K email for 10$ !?

You can see the keywords I got from H-supertools suggested keywords. and I am ranking number one on almost all keywords. I am using vidiq here to check the keyword ranks.

This is how you optimize your Video on a certain keyword to rank on YouTube top results, and by the way this may be accomplished in 1 hour and not by 1 month.

I do the same operation for around 30 keywords to rank on top of YouTube, some examples:

Other important points:

also what helps you rank your video other than metadata (title, description and tags)

is the video length and quality. if people love your content and stay more on YouTube watching your video, YouTube will rank it higher.

so publish High-quality valuable videos and optimize your Thumbnail and title for higher CTR (click-through rate).
Video Optimization: You have to take care of your videos after you upload by optimizing it, take care of your Thumbnail, Title, Description, Tags, Video length, script...

Quality Content: Quality is always better than quantity, especially today. so always ensure to give the real value of highly engaging videos on your Channel.

Consistency: YouTube Love consistency, always ensure to put a schedule for your channel and publish videos on a regular basis.

Patience: Your Channel will not Grow in 1 month (even though it's not impossible), but keep in mind that you may not see results before 6-12 months of hard work.

SOLUTION OF “LIMITED ORIGINALITY OF CONTENT”. Turn your red demonetized page into Green (Monetized) again!



So it’s like everyone here is facing “Limited Originality of Content” all of you are finding the solution to this flag.

| HOW & WHEN IT ATTACKS PAGE? |

It usually occurs whenever you upload a video of other pages to your pages without meaningful
enhancements (editing) i.e commentary, music, characterization etc.

If this flag occurs on a page that is not yet signed up for monetization, that page can not be monetized then unless the flag lifts off. If this flag occurs on a monetized page, Facebook could demonetize the page or give a yellow warning to the page that you may get demonetized if you do
it again (however you can still earn from that page)

| HOW TO RESOLVE THIS? |

Well, On appealing to Facebook. You guys may receive a response from Facebook stating “Your page is currently eligible for monetization”. Well, they are right. Your pages are eligible but can’t signup due to that flag.

Let me tell you what I and my partner did on our pages recently.

We deleted each and every video on our page.
Literally, all videos are deleted. Because I remember we appealed to FB one time and in response, FB said, “It will be removed once it is self-corrected”.
The self-corrected means. We correct our
mistakes by deleting the videos which we take from the other pages. Since we didn’t know which video got affected. We deleted all our videos just to take no risks. After deleting the
videos. We didn’t post anything on the page.
We literally forgot that we had those pages.
Finally, after 14-21 days, we got the pages
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO?

If you know those specific videos which you have taken from other pages. Just delete them. And wait for 14-21 days. It will automatically lift off the flag and your page becomes Green for monetization. Don’t appeal. Don’t pay anyone to solve it, Don’t cry, Don’t panic, Don’t blame Facebook for this. Just try this and thank me later.

How do I monetize a Facebook fan page I have created?

That is an interesting question.

First you’ll have to ask yourself if the Fan Page is based around a monetizable niche.

If your Page is solely about basket-weaving in Guam, for example, there simply won’t be enough people on Facebook who are interested, nor will there be many products in that niche to sell.

If you have a Page that both gets high engagement and has high quality products that you can offer, then you can start to monetize.

But make sure that before you do so, you have lots of engagement (likes, comments, shares) on your Page already.

Also, only advertise a product maybe every other day. You don’t want to turn a fun Fan Page into an advertisement. You’ll lose followers quickly doing that.

A good way to monetize is to create a Facebook Group. You can make your Page an admin of the Group so that both are connected, then recommend that people on your Page join your Group.

I’d suggested a closed group rather than a public one. Closed groups seem more exclusive and suggest more value to your members than public ones.

Within your Group, make lots of valuable posts without advertising anything. Just give your members value so that they stay interested and get engaged.

You want to get them liking and talking to each other and eventually making all their own posts themselves. Then your Group will take on a life of its own and every once in a while, you can pin a post to the top advertising a product.

But make sure you frame the advertisement properly. Don’t make it scammy.

You want to write a post that has valuable tips and info and at the bottom, suggest a product that can make it easier and/or faster for your members to get what they want.

Above all, you want to have the mindset that you’re helping them.

You should still continue to post to your Fan Page. This will drive organic traffic to your Group, provided you link to your Group in your Page posts.

You can also use your Page for paid advertising. In fact, Facebook requires having a Page in order for you to do paid advertising at all.

So make sure you post often to your Page and use it as a funnel to get people into your Group. People in Groups are more likely to be interested in what you have to say than those who are just following your Page.

So, to sum up, use your Page to funnel your followers into a Closed Group, provide valuable content in your Group and on your Page, make frequent references on your Page to your Group, and do promotions with pinned posts / announcements in your Group once you have high engagement and trust.
