Askari Housing Society is a residential community located in the south-eastern part of Lahore, Pakistan. The community, much like Defence Housing Authority, Lahore, was primarily meant for retired personnel of Pakistan Army. Initially only 1 sector was announced. As of June 2013, almost 11 more sectors were announced where all sectors are now fully developed.
It was one of the first gated communities of Lahore which introduced the concept of one entry and exit points. Because of advanced security measures, all sectors of Askari offer complete security with little or no crimes. According to a recently published report of Zameen.com, a real estate portal of Pakistan, Askari is one of the most secure housing societies in Lahore, Pakistan
