She serves as President of the Amateur Gardening Club and Head of the Lahore Gymkhana Gardening Club, where she continues to contribute actively to the field of horticulture.

Dr. Jehangir Alam was born in Lahore in 1934. He received his early education at St. Anthony’s School, Lahore, and completed his intermediate studies at Government College, Lahore. In 1951, he joined King Edward Medical College and graduated with an MBBS degree in 1956. After completing his house job and surgical training at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, he earned an M.S. from the University of the Punjab in 1960 and was appointed Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mayo Hospital in 1962.

In 1963, he was awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship for postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom, where he obtained the FRCS (Edinburgh) and FRCS (England) in 1964. After returning to Pakistan, he served as a Surgical Specialist at Services Hospital, Lahore, until 1971 and later worked as Surgeon and Chief Medical Officer with WAPDA. In 1980, he resigned from government service and established a private surgical clinic at 2-Golf Road, GOR-I, Lahore.

Dr. Jehangir Alam continues to serve the poor and underprivileged at his clinic, charging minimal fees that cover only essential expenses.
