M. Malik has been passionate about writing from a young age. With a vivid imagination and a constant stream of ideas, he found storytelling to be a natural way to express himself and connect with the world around him.

Beyond writing, Malik is fascinated by science, history, and chess—interests that continue to inspire his creative work. He began writing his first book at just 12 and completed it at 13. His debut novel, The Battle of Kings and Queens, is now published worldwide as the first installment in The Checkmate Chronicles series.

At MM Talks, Malik shares his journey as a young writer, the process behind creating his first book, the people who supported and encouraged him, and his hopes for the future.

A recipient of the prestigious Academic Blazer and College Gold Colour in cricket, he has dedicated his time at Aitchison to upholding its values while contributing to student leadership and community initiatives.

Passionate about youth development, Ryaed has authored research on Pakistan's Women Entrepreneurship Policy and founded the nationwide Pakistan Finance & Economics Tournament. Beyond academics, he represents Lahore Region in cricket and is deeply interested in financial investments, personal discipline, and lifelong learning.

In this talk, Ryaed explores how true leadership is shaped by a multidimensional personality, one that balances emotional intelligence with intellectual judgment. Drawing on lessons from his mentors, he highlights the importance of discipline, empathy, and empowering others as the foundations of meaningful leadership.
