Contrast → Use differences (color, size, shape) to make important parts stand out. Example: dark text on light background.
Alignment → Keep everything properly lined up. It makes the design look organized and professional.
Hierarchy → Show what is most important first. Big title → medium subtitle → small text.
Balance → Distribute elements evenly. It can be symmetrical (equal both sides) or asymmetrical (different but still balanced).
Repetition → Repeat colors, fonts, or styles to create a consistent look and brand identity.
Spacing (White Space) → Leave empty space so the design can “breathe” and is easy to read.

A color palette (or color scheme) is a set of selected colors used together in design, painting, or artwork to create a balanced and attractive look.

Instead of using random colors, designers choose a planned group of colors — that is called a color palette.

🎨 Types of Color Palettes
1. Monochromatic Palette

Uses one color with its different shades, tints, and tones
Example: light blue, blue, dark blue
✔ Simple and clean look

2. Analogous Palette

Uses colors next to each other on the color wheel
Example: yellow, yellow-orange, orange
✔ Soft and natural look

3. Complementary Palette

Uses opposite colors on the color wheel
Example: red & green, blue & orange
✔ High contrast and eye-catching

4. Split Complementary

One base color + two colors near its opposite
✔ Balanced contrast

5. Triadic Palette

Uses three evenly spaced colors
Example: red, yellow, blue
✔ Bright and balanced

6. Tetradic Palette

Uses two pairs of opposite colors
✔ Rich but needs careful balance
