IF you are running Google Ads and want to improve the quality score of keywords

Then first you need to understand how a quality score is calculated. There are 3 main components

1- Click Through Rate
2- Keyword / Ad Relevance
3- Keyword / Query Relevance
4- Landing Page Quality

So these are your 4 components and let's look at them in bit more detail

1- Click Through Rate

CTR is the % of people that click your ad after seeing it.

How its calculated: Clicks/ impressions x 100 = CTR

If your ad is shown 10 times and it generates 1 click, you would
have CTR of 10%. (1/10 x 100).

In other words, 10% of people who saw your ad clicked on it.

The higher your CTR, the higher your quality score will be.

What is a Good CTR?

It's industry-specific.

The general rule of thumb is to aim for 5%+

How does Google know?
Chances are, you are not the first advertiser in your
industry with your keywords.

Ad position
Ad position plays a massive role in CTR too. Google also
takes this into account.

2- Keyword / Ad Relevance

Relevancy between the keywords you targeting and your ad text is super important.

Avoid keyword stuffing - This is not what Google wants to see.

It's good practice to try and include the main keywords in your headlines

4- Landing Page Quality

Landing page relevance is the least weighted factor but still
plays a big role in determining your quality score.

Your landing page needs to be relevant to the keywords
you're targeting along with your ad text.

If someone clicks your ad after searching for “air con units"
they should land on a page which is relevant to air con
units.

As long as you answer the users query, you'll have no
issues.

One thing I tested which worked really well was before increasing the pricing of the products I launched the ads to create FOMO

We did something like "we are sorry but due to higher costs we HAVE to increase the price because we don't compromise on quality so stock up now before price increase"

That was our BIGGEST Day (Sale wise).

After testing a bunch of different strategies, Ad angles, Offers and Landing pages we finally cracked the code and here is how we did it

The Formula to get 15X+ ROAS is having a verified page (Blue tick), doing Facebook live from that page and selling products with a 1-time offer ONLY (If its gone it's gone you will never see it again, Legit)

This formula helped us scale profitably.
