Regarding my previous post, I am here with a new one. This post is dedicated to understanding the basics of Social Media
Marketing.

To understand social media marketing, it's essential to first have a basic knowledge of social media sites and apps. And I know most of the people are familiar with these platforms already.

A major proportion of the population spends much of their time on these platforms. To name them, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter are one of the major social media platforms. With the massive traffic, these platforms are now considered one of the best areas to invest in.

Multiple brands and celebrities have also great audiences which they often use for generating revenue and credibility.

But for the starting setups, with little to no following, this might be a tough task to harness great audiences immediately. That's where social media marketing is used.

Social media apps and platforms allow these starting businesses to promote their brands with paid advertising.
Hence the term social media marketing.

An introduction to the basics of digital marketing.

With this post, I will try to develop a basic understanding of digital marketing.

Digital marketing is a vast field that covers multiple domains. Primarily it includes publishing advertisements on platforms like google and Facebook. However the bigger purpose of digital marketing is to get access to the desired audiences which will help to develop the brand status and revenue.

The e-commerce world has progressed to new heights all thanks to digital marketing. There are numerous brands that are now focusing more towards putting their advertisements on social media sites. this not only promotes their brand but also help them to generate great income because the trends are now changed. No one is invested in reading advertising papers when they can simple chose to just scroll down. There are multiple sub niche under this major head of digital marketing.
Social media marketing is one of them.

so that's pretty much the basics of digital marketing. In the next post I will try to discuss about social media marketing.
