Social Media Coordinator – Part-time | Remote | 40K

Commitment:
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Content Creation may be required on Saturday in which case the subsequent Monday is off*
• Hours: 4 hours daily/ 5 days a week
• Schedule of your choice
• Islamabad-based
• Expected Start Date: October

You’re a good fit if:
• You have 6 months – a year’s experience in managing social media accounts
• Have experience with Instagram & Tiktok. Preferred but not a must: Facebook & Linkedin
• Design Skills - Experience with Canva.
• Experience working with video editing software like CapCut.
• Writing skills

Responsibilities | DAY TO DAY BASIS
Day to day responsibilities will include a mix of:
• Posting to accounts via Scheduling via tools or manually (IG + Tiktok)
• Hashtag optimization for clients
• Copy for caption writing
• Graphic design for feed content
• Designing story content for clients
• Reels creation (5 reels per wk)
• Tik Tok Management

Responsibilities | WEEKLY
• Weekly Remote meeting
• Sourcing trending concepts
• 1x week onsite content creation

Responsibilities | MONTHLY/OCCASIONALLY
• In-person meeting (monthly)
• In-house social media content creation

We hear you - coming up with new content every single day is taxing! This especially applies to business that are not very visual and don't have a huge bank of aesthetic photos. But don't make the mistake of posting 'filler content' i.e. posting for the sake of posting 💻

Why? Because every social media post is an opportunity to build a relationship with your audience.

Here's what we recommend instead:
✨ Post 3 to 4x a week as opposed to every day to avoid burn out and overwhelm - Quality over Quantity!

✨Organize your content creation in advance to stay organized

✨Be consistent - you don't have to show up every single day, but let your audience know that they can rely on you to consistently provide value

A mistake we see all too often when working with our clients 👇

An aesthetic Instagram feed looks good and sure, it's important - but it's not the sole focus of your social media marketing efforts.

All the time and effort spent in creating the perfect grid can be used to revisit your strategy, write effective captions and focus on creating more save-worthy content.

Instead, focus on creating a consistent visual brand identity. Make sure your branding remains consistent across your social media, website, print and other marketing collateral. You want to focus on recognition and brand recall as opposed to an 'aesthetic'.

Here are 3 things you can do create a consistent brand impact:

1️⃣ Choose a colour scheme that reflects your brand personality and stick to it. If you're only planning to use imagery + videos - incorporate elements (e.g. backgrounds sheets) of the same colour OR follow a set of pre-determined image guidelines

2️⃣ Stick to two fonts - one for attention-grabbing headings and one for your main body of copy

3️⃣ Feel free to use branded elements throughout your content e.g. your logo, emblems or submarks
