Most founders I talk to want to build a 'complete' platform on day 1.
Then they burn out.
A founder came to us with an idea: a self-serve branding tool for small businesses. They could've gone 3 directions:
❌ Full feature platform (brand kits, team collaboration, advanced tools)
❌ Enterprise feature set (would take 6 months)
✅ MVP that solves ONE problem exceptionally well
We chose option 3.
We asked: What's the ONE thing a non-designer actually needs?
Answer: A professional logo in under 5 minutes.
That's it. That's the MVP.
Everything else was cut.
No brand kits. No team features. No advanced design tools. Just: template → customize → export.
40 days later, the app launched. Real users validated the core idea. The founder didn't need to guess—they had data.
If you're building an MVP, stop trying to please everyone. Solve one problem better than anyone else.
What's YOUR one problem worth solving?
