JOB DESCRIPTION:
TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER
Growing Financial Services Solutions IT Company looking to expand its Test Engineering department with an automation Engineer. We are looking for a dependable, team player, who can create and manage structured automated testing frameworks for both web-based and mobile applications. Effectively turn manual test scripts into maintainable, portable, and scalable automated scripts. Perform well in 2-weeks release cycles in an agile Test Engineering process on Scrum projects.

REQUIREMENTS
• 2+ years of experience as a Test engineer with a strong knowledge of Test Engineering processes
• Ability to build high quality reusable automated test frameworks
• Must be experienced testing web and mobile applications
• Testing experience in iOS, Android, and Web
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Hands-on experience with Python/C # and Selenium, Appium, TFS, SQL, Cucumber, JUnit, JMeter, Postman
• Comfortable with Continuous Integration
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work in an agile team environment and a self-starter
• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts that validate test cases against the mobile apps and web applications
• Create automated checks against the web services and APIs. Assist in updating and executing of manual test cases
• Validate software UI, report defects, and verify fixed defects
• Help troubleshoot test failures with the rest of the Test Engineering team and developers
