How can you brainstorm a simple symmetrical logo?
Sometimes I start with one letter and one mathematical rule.
For this exploration:
Letter = P
Repetitions = 5
Rotation = 72°
Five repeated letters at 72-degree intervals create rotational symmetry.
I sketch the P in Krita and let the same basic form move around one central point.
Then I experiment.
Change the bowl.
Change the stem.
Change the overlap.
Change the center.
The interesting part is that one small decision affects the complete symbol.
“Repeat the form. Discover the mark.”
This isn't about forcing the first sketch to become a finished logo.
It's brainstorming.
The purpose is to create a visual system and see whether a simple, minimal symbol emerges from it.
“One letter. Five rotations. One symbol.”
This approach can inspire identities for technology, SaaS, engineering, creative businesses, networks, energy, sports, architecture, and other brands needing a compact geometric mark.
