If you are jobless , you must read it...& share it...!!!
It's really sad that a person who is going to be a graduate in a month or two and still asking such questions ( e.g. What I will do, Where I can apply, What's the worth of my degree, Should I switch my discipline for next degree ), It shows the lack in our career counselling, no proper guidance and lack in us that we are still confused in this matter. Well, leave ranking, status, cgpa and skills on a side, already graduates are working and jobless too so it's upto you now that how you are going to prepare for next. If interested in market place then BS is enough, If interested in teaching then must go for MS without wasting a single moment. If you have no experience for market place then go for Internship or trainee programs. Search more related to teaching , lecturership vacancies in govt colleges via PPSC, FPSC. For experience, you can join colleges on Contract basis too. You can join any university as TA, RA, lab Instructor and start doing MS from there too. If interested in a foreign degree then start searching related scholarships, check eligibility and get prepared for tests IELTS, GRE, TOEFL and related documents, start searching relevant faculty profile, make a list of email and approach them with good CV, SOP, Research proposal and ask for acceptance letter. Make a list of funded programs and keep checking open positions. Keep checking HEC local/overseas scholarships programs and make yourself prepared for tests.
Bravo things are getting worst here and you will find seniors with you for same positions. It's about Job issue here and probably they have spent a lot on testing companies, fee challans but still they could not grab a good position. Even you will see BS, MS degree holders working on bps-9, bps-14 and bps16. In public sector jobs, you will see very less quota or seats. It's about poor policies in our education system as well as quality of many profound professions is at worst. Here I will request to govt to make some policy likewise PMDC that every fresh engineer or any BS degree holder must be recruit in concerned department as internee with monthly stipend. I have suffered a lot but I don't want my juniors to face this down situation. So, here I wish you good luck and hope you will have a bright future.
