I was reflecting this morning and thinking deeply about where our world is headed with AI and robotics.
Many people still are not paying close attention, but this technology is already transforming industries and replacing jobs at a pace we’ve never seen before.
This is not about fear.
And it’s definitely not about saying college or education is bad.
Education is incredibly valuable.
But I do believe parents, students, and young adults need to start asking deeper questions about what they’re studying and how relevant those skills will be in the marketplace over the next 5 to 10 years.
For decades, many people were told:
“Go to school, get a degree, and you’ll always have security.”
Today, that conversation has to evolve.
Many careers that traditionally required college degrees are already being impacted by AI:
Customer service…
Administrative work…
Analysts…
Technology…
Legal support…
Accounting…
Marketing…
Even parts of software development and data processing.
Companies are rapidly implementing AI because it increases efficiency, reduces costs, and improves profitability.
And it’s not just office jobs anymore.
Japan Airlines is now testing humanoid robots for baggage handling and airport operations.

So this shift is coming for both white-collar and physical labor industries alike.
According to major reports, millions of jobs worldwide are expected to be displaced or dramatically changed because of AI and automation over the coming years.

I believe the future belongs to people who learn how to adapt, build relationships, think creatively, communicate effectively, and provide value that technology alone cannot replicate.
What I personally love about the industry and business I’m in is that it’s built around genuine human relationships, mentorship, encouragement, trust, leadership, and person-to-person connection.
AI can enhance relationship-based businesses…
But it cannot replace authentic human connection.
Technology can automate tasks…
But it cannot replace belief, care, inspiration, compassion, and real relationships.
The world is changing faster than most people realize.
The question everyone should ask themselves is:
Is my industry evolving?
Will my skills still be valuable in the future?
And am I preparing myself and my family for where the world is headed?
