We’ve been shaping the new visual identity for “Gulbenkian Descobrir”. Our main goal was for the design to emerge through the act of unfolding, discovering what has to offer. Each fold defines a new rhythm: colors shift, edges meet, and typography settles into structure. We sought a system that grows from the physical act itself. 📃📄

It’s been wonderful to work on a project that embodies a continuous search for play, learning, and the encounter with new ideas.
Many thanks to Gulbenkian’s team, it’s been a real pleasure working together. ✨

Lisboa Soa 2025 has begun and runs until the 19th. ⚡️A space where curiosity and listening are the driving forces.

This year, we continue our graphic search. The faceted typeface stays, but the design gains a stronger sense of movement. Photographs return to a soft grey, and a pale yellow takes over the rest.
Warm, luminous, yet quiet enough to let black typography breathe.

The forms are intersections, points joining until they become figures. There’s something mandala-like, almost kaleidoscopic, in this iteration. A visual echo of the circular listening the festival propose and this year’s theme – energy in flux. 〰️

It’s always a pleasure.

RISOMA: RISO Printing Exhibition
June 26 — October 23 🌈

The educational programme of RISOMA is a body of its own. It was designed as a space for contagion between knowledge, practices. A way to return to technique what is most precious about it: the possibility of being shared. 🐿️

We’ve divided it into three moments, each with different levels of depth and intensity. With a common thread: the urge to experiment.

1️⃣ RISO from A to Z Workshop – 06/07
A first contact with the machine. For those who’ve never printed before. Participants will learn the basics: colour separation, file prep, printer operation, but most of all, how to dance with unpredictability.

2️⃣ RISO Faux CMYK Workshop – 20/07
An intermediate course for the bold. We start with Faux CMYK. A manual simulation of four-colour printing through ink overlaps, and push further.
All the things the machine doesn’t promise, but allows.

3️⃣ Publishing & Risograph – 31/08, 07/09, 14/09
An intensive lab in editing, curation and production. The third level is a space of synthesis. From concept to final print, participants develop a publication from scratch. But more than making an object, this course is about what it means to edit in risograph: How limits become language. How constraints become choices. It’s demanding, and doesn’t hide it.

RISOMA is on! 🌈 Save the Date!

An international exhibition dedicated to risograph printing. It’s a celebration. A deliberately imperfect and open-ended map of a landscape that prints, folds, cuts, glues, and persists.

It brings together a living network of printers, designers, illustrators, photographers, musicians, and poets, who use these digital duplicators not just as tools, but as a way of being.

With contributions from:
