HERE’S HOW I fixed for a service-based client who thought their target audience was "everyone" (a quite common mindset)
4. target audience
FOMO had them convinced they couldn't niche down (when there was obviously a niche here) because what if they missed out on business? So I went back to basics: dissected the real problem, asked the right questions, and got clear on who they actually serve.
3. content direction
No marketing background = no content strategy, which is completely normal. I gave it one clear direction, so anyone landing on their profile knew instantly who they are and who they help (the people who find them need to see their own reflection in my client’s content).
2. bio
Before: a list of services is not usually the way to go about the bio. I made sure that the new bio said what they do, who it's for, and where they're based. Their target audience started finding them and staying.
1. link in bio
Too many links = too many decisions = people leaving without clicking anything. I stripped it back to one clear CTA. Shorter path usually means a faster conversion.
