👏 Qatar Tourism held the “Legacy of Guides: Generation to Generation” ceremony on 5 September 2026, celebrating participants and graduates from four tourism development programmes delivered throughout the year.

🎓 The programmes included 110 children from the Junior Tour Guide Summer Camp, 19 youth participants in the Youth Tour Guide Training Programme, 7 licensed Qatari guides through the Train-the-Trainer Programme, and 11 newly licensed tour guides.

🇶🇦 From young storytellers to professional guides, the initiative supports a new generation ready to share Qatar’s culture, heritage and stories with the world.

👏 أقامت قطر للسياحة حفل «إرث المرشدين: من جيل إلى جيل» في 5 سبتمبر 2026، لتكريم المشاركين والخريجين من أربعة برامج لتطوير قطاع الإرشاد السياحي نُفذت خلال العام.

🎓 وشملت البرامج 110 أطفال في المخيم الصيفي للمرشد السياحي الصغير، و19 شابًا وشابة في برنامج تدريب المرشدين الشباب، و7 مرشدين سياحيين قطريين مرخصين ضمن برنامج تدريب المدربين، بالإضافة إلى 11 مرشدًا سياحيًا حصلوا حديثًا على الترخيص.

🇶🇦 A Qatar Armed Forces aircraft has arrived in Colombia carrying a fully equipped field hospital to provide urgent medical assistance and support healthcare facilities in areas affected by the earthquake.

🏥 The field hospital was provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) as part of Qatar’s humanitarian response to the disaster.

🚑 The Qatari International Search and Rescue Group (Lekhwiya) is also assisting with the delivery and setup of the hospital to help provide essential medical care to those affected.

🤝 Qatar continues its humanitarian efforts to support communities affected by disasters around the world.

🇶🇦 وصلت طائرة تابعة للقوات المسلحة القطرية إلى كولومبيا، وعلى متنها مستشفى ميداني متكامل التجهيزات لتقديم الرعاية الطبية العاجلة ودعم المنشآت الصحية في المناطق المتضررة من الزلزال.

🏥 وتم تقديم المستشفى الميداني من قبل صندوق قطر للتنمية، ضمن الاستجابة الإنسانية القطرية للكارثة.

🚑 كما يشارك فريق البحث والإنقاذ القطري الدولي (لخويا) في عملية نقل وتجهيز المستشفى للمساهمة في تقديم الرعاية الطبية اللازمة للمتضررين.

🏫 The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has stressed that all forms of punishment against students are prohibited in public schools, including physical, verbal and psychological punishment.

🛡️ In a circular addressed to public school principals, the Ministry emphasized that school employees must respect students’ dignity and protect their mental and physical wellbeing in accordance with the professional code of ethics.

📚 Student behavioural violations should instead be addressed through appropriate educational methods and in accordance with approved policies and regulations.

⚠️ The Ministry also confirmed that employees who violate these instructions will be held accountable under the applicable policies and regulations.

🤝 The measures aim to maintain a safe, respectful and supportive educational environment for all students.

🏫 أكدت وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي على حظر جميع أشكال العقاب ضد الطلبة في المدارس الحكومية، بما في ذلك العقاب الجسدي واللفظي والنفسي.

🛡️ وشددت الوزارة، في تعميم موجه إلى مديري المدارس الحكومية، على ضرورة التزام العاملين بميثاق أخلاقيات المهنة، والحفاظ على كرامة الطلبة وصحتهم النفسية والجسدية.

📚 وأوضحت أن المخالفات السلوكية للطلبة يجب التعامل معها من خلال الأساليب التربوية المناسبة ووفق السياسات واللوائح المعتمدة.

⚠️ كما أكدت أن أي موظف يخالف هذه التعليمات سيخضع للمساءلة وفقًا للسياسات والأنظمة المعمول بها.

🪪 Qatar’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) has urged citizens and residents to carry their Qatar ID (QID) or a digital copy when visiting public places, as it can help authorities quickly identify individuals during accidents or emergencies.

👮 The public is also advised to remain alert to anyone claiming to be a police officer while wearing civilian clothes. Residents have the right to ask the individual to show their official police ID before providing information or answering questions.

📞 If the person cannot provide a police ID or you suspect they are impersonating an officer, call 999.

🔎 According to the MOI official, if a person has no identification available, fingerprints may be used to establish their identity. Cases where identity cannot be confirmed may be referred to the CID.

🪪 دعت وزارة الداخلية المواطنين والمقيمين إلى حمل البطاقة الشخصية القطرية أو نسخة رقمية منها عند التواجد في الأماكن العامة، لما لذلك من أهمية في سرعة التحقق من الهوية، خصوصًا في حالات الحوادث والطوارئ.

👮 كما دعت إلى الحذر من الأشخاص الذين يدّعون أنهم من رجال الشرطة وهم بالملابس المدنية، والتأكد من هويتهم من خلال طلب إبراز البطاقة الرسمية للشرطة قبل تقديم أي معلومات أو الإجابة عن الأسئلة.

📞 وفي حال عدم تمكن الشخص من إبراز البطاقة أو الاشتباه في انتحاله صفة رجل أمن، يُنصح بالاتصال على 999.

🇶🇦 The State of Qatar has strongly condemned renewed Iranian attacks targeting the territories of Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait, describing them as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the three countries.

⚠️ Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the continued attacks represent a dangerous escalation that could undermine diplomatic efforts aimed at restoring security and stability in the region.

🤝 Qatar reaffirmed its full solidarity with the neighboring countries and its support for all legitimate measures taken to protect their sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.

🕊️ The Ministry called for an immediate and complete halt to military actions and attacks, urging all sides to avoid further escalation and return to dialogue and negotiations.

🇶🇦 أدانت دولة قطر بشدة تجدد الهجمات الإيرانية التي استهدفت أراضي المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية ومملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت، معتبرةً إياها انتهاكًا صارخًا لسيادة الدول الثلاث وسلامة أراضيها.

⚠️ وأكدت وزارة الخارجية أن استمرار هذه الهجمات يمثل تصعيدًا خطيرًا من شأنه تعقيد جهود خفض التصعيد وتقويض المبادرات الدبلوماسية والسياسية الرامية إلى استعادة الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.

🤝 وجددت قطر تضامنها الكامل مع الدول الشقيقة ودعمها لكافة الإجراءات المشروعة التي تتخذها للحفاظ على سيادتها وأمنها وسلامة أراضيها.

🕊️ ودعت الوزارة إلى الوقف الفوري والكامل لجميع الأعمال والهجمات العسكرية التي تهدد أمن واستقرار المنطقة، والعودة إلى الحوار والمفاوضات وتجنب أي خطوات من شأنها توسيع دائرة الصراع.
