Day 10
There is a whole movement around “One Punch Man”, it transitioned from a simple anime and manga to changing people’s life for the better, it sparks challenges and a healthy lifestyle. I encourage you to check it out.

The main character Saitama has worked his entire life to perfect one move and has become so good at it that he’s unbeatable, in the process he also went bold and sacrificed his hair for mastery.
Ohh, and I grew up with anime!

Who else can say they “I want to teach 1 billion people how to make a living doing what they love?”
Chris Do is the same for me - “One Punch Do”, perfecting his teaching method along with The Futur family, to change the world for the better. Not to mention he was a bit obsessed with UFC as a kid.

Day 9
“After all, the ordinary hero hiding in each of us is often the most powerful catalyst for change.” Tate Taylor

No, this is not about the “Superman complex” where you think you can fix everything and everyone, including yourself. This is about what superpower lies inside of us, how each and everyone can harness the things that we often think as faults and turn them into a positive.

The Client is the Hero, and we Creatives are the guide. This is why exercises like the “X-factor” are important.
We are the hero of our own story and it’s up to us where the journey will take us, it all starts with 1 , one person has the ability to impact the world. Everyone of us has that inside, and it can drive change.

Day 8

One of our mantras: “You cannot understand good design if you do not understand PEOPLE” Dieter Rams (The father of minimal design and the precursor of Apple)

Once you understand how important it is to serve other people and to take your opinions out of the equation, when your purpose is to help, then you can create a design that is useful and it serves the Client and their intended audience too.

Renaissance has put humans at it’s center and it was a period of unmatched growth.
When we CARE we can transform everything, we can be a catalyst for change. We are connected with each other and with Earth, we all strive to create harmony.

We fight for sustainability, Eco design, and growing those aspects of people that help all of us. There's no point in creating a beautiful design that has no mission and depth.

Day 7

While doing this project we realized how much beauty there is any Country’s culture, art and tradition.

It’s interesting how with every project you become a bit richer and wiser, if you just take a chance and give it your best.

Day 6

A bit late on this one, it's still day 6 somewhere in the world.
Some of our work will be for the heart and some for other people's hearts.
What has changed my life and has instilled movement in me in any way possible? Why I am now guided by purpose and passion.

I joined Do’s Pro Futur Group 7 months ago and it changed my life and that of my team for the better.

Gratitude and giving is the least I can do for “Baby Do-da”, my mentor, the one that has opened every door and my eyes to a whole new way of creating and serving.
Who else can say they “want to teach 1 billion people how to make a living doing what they love?”

Day 5

Not all of our work is for Clients.
This is a glimpse of a concept packaging project we have done for Cacao from around the World. You can find it here: https://www.behance.net/cultcat

We became our own Client and actually came up with a brief and went through the whole Discovery and creative process, did our research and this is what we came up with.

If you have any doubts about making content, I would encourage you to put them aside. “Courage only exists in the presence of fear.”

Day 3

I have started this 100 day Content Challenge on September the 1st and this is day 3. My mission for CultCat is to make it visible and give it a voice.

We have been sitting on a large portfolio and I realized I love to create content because I have so much to share with the world.

Powerful women are a must in this world and one of my favorite people is Emily Cohen and I got to discover her through Chris Do.

If there is one very significant advice it is - ”DOCUMENT EVERYTHING YOU DO AND SHARE”. As often as possible and the sooner the better.
I made one chibi to serve as the illustration for a LinkedIn article, for an illustration post on Facebook and a video on Instagram, all from recording my process and "working hard once" as Greg Hickman likes to say.

Day 2

On March 26th, 2020, I started watching The Futur live, with Emily Cohen and Chris Do. I saw this gutsy woman that said with a wide smile “I like to push people’s buttons”,and it was shocking - it was a call to action to have an honest conversation.

I started taking notes frantically and I ended up with this summary that is helping me navigate creative-client relationships.

I’m building up the courage to share with the world, to help. Where I can add a bit of me all the time is an illustration to celebrate the people I believe in.

1st DAY

Why packaging design?
I have found myself telling a story about the 1st step of our journey, and I became aware of what sparked our love for packaging design.

Fresh out of Fine Arts Uni, after completing our Master’s degree, we started thinking how we can earn money by doing what we love and keeping art as an integral part. We saw packaging design as a ”canvas” for illustration and design.

We mixed in our cat ingredient, illustration, love of Asian culture, and ”Matcha Green Tea” is to this day, one of our most known projects.
It has been featured in "Eco Packaging Now" magazine, blogs about how to create good packaging design and it’s even been “borrowed without our OK” to use as an example for manufacturing companies.

“Matcha” is our 1st step towards a Creative business.
