What’s the true price we have to pay for using AI for our emails, campaign concepts, some visuals here and there or… increasingly, almost everything?
Right now, AI feels ridiculously cheap. A few subscriptions can replace hours of drafting, research, ideation, and production. But the monthly fee is only the part we can easily see.
There’s also the compute behind it. The time spent reviewing an endless supply of outputs. The dependency we’re building on vendors whose pricing may look very different in a few years. The environmental cost. And one question marketing teams probably need to discuss more: what happens to junior talent when AI starts doing the work people used to learn from?
