A story from 100 years back.

Bucharest, 1926. Andrei, a young Roma violinist, refuses to play for Nae, the crime boss who wants to own his music. In front of the whole Obor market.

Lăutarul is our new short film. We wrote it, directed it and produced it in house: period research for every set and costume, more than 100 film stills, one consistent cast and narration in English and period Romanian.

We are finishing post production now, and the film will be live here soon.

Eleven years ago, Medusa Outdoor played its first edition at De Kasteelhoeve. We were there then. We're here now for the last one.

For this final edition, Desert Nomads, 21 July, we rebuilt the entire Medusa Concept digital experience from the ground up. Every page. Every stage. Every ticket flow. The full ecommerce store and checkout, redesigned in pure HTML, blazingly fast and built to be found by anyone searching for the best day festival in Belgium.

We gave the Desert Nomads theme the digital home it deserves. The stages, the lineup, the legacy, all of it presented the way Coco and the team always intended. And headliners Nicole Moudaber and Anna Tur get the spotlight they've earned, alongside residents Michael Forzza (Official) and Jochen Robberecht who have held the Medusa sound together all these years.

Eleven editions. One final summer at the castle. It's been an honour to be part of the story.

A special thank you to Medusa Concept. Eleven years of trust, vision and some of the most incredible productions Belgium has ever seen. It's been a privilege.
