There are people whose inbox and business life look like a Marie Kondo edition of work decluttering. That is definitely not me. 😅
I have cluttered thoughts, a cluttered inbox and… well, you should see my bookshelves.
For most of my life, I thought that was a bug. Then I finally found the feature in it.
When I started my business, I noticed that my client-facing work was always neat and organized.
I had built or integrated frameworks, templates, procedures. Things felt fluid, despite my standard inner noise.
And there’s more: when I’m in work sessions, the noise is gone.
I can hear what my clients say, what they want to say, and what they wish someone would hear without them having to say it.
I see people with their own clutter, emotional baggage, doubt, struggles and hesitation.
And until I started my business and got my first feedback, I didn’t fully realize I do that. Honestly, I think coaching made me see parts of myself I had missed for years.
So here’s the shorter version: all that clutter trained me to build evolving structures and tools.
I can turn most things into an exercise, a game, a table, a challenge or even a product, without oversimplifying.
And I’m sharing this because I have a feeling many of us are treating features like bugs (
things that could become gold, if we stopped looking at them only as flaws).
The goal is not to list every possible example.
The goal is to leave room for you to think about your own.
What do you tend to judge about yourself?
What do people point out about you?
What seems inconvenient, but you have this feeling it's who you are and you can find a place for it in your life?
Your inbox might still be screaming.
But giving yourself credit for even one gold nugget might change the energy you write your next reply with.
If you feel like sharing in the comments or DM, I am here to help you build on your existing gifts or challenges.
