For 15 years, Summer Well has been both. Told by the people who lived it. Summer Well Festival

A place to discover and rediscover: the best music, surrounded by the best people. Summer Well simply feels like home.

Before the festival, I talk about what’s coming. After, I try to explain what just happened. Fifteen years on, Summer Well still gives me more stories than answers.

Every year, Summer Well falls on Alma’s birthday. She doesn’t even ask for a party anymore, how do you compete with that? Friends, music we love, and the best kind of birthday tradition.

Summer Well has given me some of my best memories. The music brought us together; the people made it unforgettable.

From the very first edition, I dreamed of bringing Arctic Monkeys to Summer Well. In 2022, it finally happened, their first and only show in Romania. Still hard to top.

Summer Well is always a good idea: the perfect weekend escape, great music and the kind of time you wish you could replay.

Some pieces hold more than memories. This jacket came from the Summer Well team and has felt like part of my festival story ever since.

Summer Well, my happy place. Always.

In 2014, I looked up from my phone to find everyone staring my way. Bastille’s frontman had stepped off stage and was standing right beside me. That’s Summer Well magic: the artists from your headphones, suddenly right there.

Summer Well has always been part of our summers: the people, the line-up, the trees and that bittersweet feeling that the season is almost over. A summer well spent.

Since my first Summer Well, it has become the one festival I never miss whenever I’m home.

Summer Well is the festival that feels most like home. Familiar faces, music that feels like me, and a slower, more elegant pace, without the usual festival chaos.

My first Saint Levant show. Pure magic. Summer hasn’t sounded the same since.

Fourteen years, countless favourite artists, and even more favourite people. In 2021, after a year apart, I realised Summer Well was one tradition I never wanted to miss again.
